Woman Becomes Mother at 64 Because of Sunrider…..

Sunrider-BabyThis picture is of a young girl that has come to live with me. Her name is Amelia and she is one great kid.

When she came to stay a year ago, the social workers told me that after a doctor’s  diagnosis they suspected Amelia suffered from  failure to thrive syndrome and neurological challenges. She was 14 months old and had not begun pulling herself up yet and did not speak.

I made her some Calli and she downed 3 small bottles in rapid succession and then started filling up diapers.

She lost a pound and a half the first day here.

I gave her three bottles a day with a packet each of  Nuplus and Quinary,  then Calli and Fortune throughout the day.

She even drinks the concoction actress Sharyn Wynters taught us to make  (including a whole bottle of  Electrosport, Evergreen and Herb Cal ) as if it was the best tasting stuff ever.

She eats every veggie or fruit I put in front of her.

Within a week she was pulling herself up, then a week later, started taking  steps and within the month she was walking.

She is now a great runner, steady on her feet and quick. This has earned her the nickname of Bullet…..and the Blur……(because she is so fast).

When I first took her to school, she was placed with the babies because of her limited abilities.

Today she is with the 2-3-year-olds and she just turned 2. The teacher told me she was too far ahead to stay with the 1 – 2’s because she is performing at such a high level. Yahoo!!

She is absolutely the most even tempered child I have ever known (and I have already raised 3 children of my own).  Amelia is funny on purpose as she sees things quite humorously.

I wonder how many children labeled with these diagnoses could be helped by having our “real” nutrient dense whole food. I know it’s a lot to see happen in such a short period of time but the change was immediate and amazing.

The reason Sunrider is responsible is that I have no problem adding her to my busy schedule. I feel as if I will be available to raise her even though I need to stay strong for another 20 years minimum.

My Sunrider Story

Del's pictureAs I had my 66th birthday, I realized several things. First, I remember “old” people saying to me,  “Don’t get old. It hurts!”

I had the most intense pain running from the top of my right hip to the back of knee where it rotated to the front of my lower leg and then down to my  toes! Who knew toes could hurt so much!  I have endured this pain for many years and at this point, I was afraid that this pain was zapping my strength and energy.  As a massage therapist since 1974, I need all the strength and energy I can get!

The second thing I realized was the lack of hope I had  for my future.

Was all I had to look forward to was declining health and energy?

How long could I continue as a massage therapist and support myself for as long as I needed to? I love my work and don’t want to have to stop.  I have spent many a night tossing and turning, worrying about my health and my financial well being.

The summer of 2014, I attended a Qi Quong seminar.  I just happened to end up in a line behind Dr. Colleen Ceton  and we struck up a conversation.  She talked about the company she was affiliated with, Sunrider International and their Philosophy of Regeneration.  Dr. Ceton invited me to the Sunrider Wellness Center that she started and started telling me all about the organic,   whole foods concentrates  that Sunrider sells using the direct sales marketing business plan.  Dr. Ceton is a Naturpathic Doctor and a Holistic Nutritionist and has been a “Sunrider” for twenty-nine years.

I started eating Sunrider foods on September 1, 2014 and it has been nothing short of a miracle.

I started with the five basic foods to nourish and cleanse my body to achieve balance.

  • NuPlus and Quinary nournished and balanced  my body.
  •  Calli Tea and Fortune Delight  cleansed.
  • SunnyDew supported my pancreas and helped to balance my blood sugar.

In an amazingly short time, my energy level zoomed and honestly, I felt like I did when I was forty!

I first weighed in at 144 pounds, 11 pounds being fat.  I went from a Size 8 to a Size 4 pant size.  I now weigh between 120-122 pounds and have maintained this for a year.  Weight lose wasn’t the most important thing-but it certainly was a bonus!

The best part-the pain in my hip, leg and and toes – 90% gone!

The second best part– the possibilities of changing the aging process for myself  and  hope for my future.

The Sunrider Philosophy of Regeneration has proven itself to me!

Many others are achieving great results with our products and I would love to tell you more about these products and make a personal recommendation to you.

I look forward to sharing more about Sunrider.

A Healing Mindset

We Are Rebuilding Our Houses

For something as crucial as rebuilding our bodies, it seems almost bizarre that we would not study the building materials before we bought them and used them.

If you are going to build a house, it seems you would take the time to find out what were appropriate building materials, not just choose the cheapest, or the most readily available.

We are rebuilding our houses – where we live – every time we put food into our bodies.

Think about it like that.  It could help you to make better choices.

Questions about foodBest Materials

What are the best materials?

Do you want to live in a mansion or a dump?

How do we use these materials?

And how does the body turn these materials into tissue, bones, teeth, brain etc.

First Things First

The first thing you need to be aware of is the quality of materials you
purchase.

Plants were designed as our body’s energy source.  When we eat them, we transfer that energy into our bodies.

Dead processed food can only transfer death into our bodies.

The fresher and more alive the food is, the more vibrational energy is going to be transferred to us.  The more energy the body has the more it has the ability to maintain health and repair itself.

Raw living foods need to be the cornerstones and building blocks of our bodies.

Sunrider foods are the highest form we can get of raw living foods.

Sunrider foods make it easy, fun and achievable to make major changes in the way we think about food and health.

Changing is fun, if you have the right attitude-and the right information.

When you are conscious and aware of what you are doing, you can create miracles in your life and your health.

Benjamin Franklin said.  ”When you are finished changing, you are finished.”

We do not want to accept defeat.  We have the power to change our
circumstances and improve our health.  Everyone can!  Starting now and getting better every day.

There is good news and bad news about changing.

The good news is, you can totally change the way you feel.

The bad news is that it takes a real commitment and some serious work.

The good news about the bad news is, it can be a lot of fun, and absolutely satisfying if you take it on as a journey of self mastery.

kaleHow well our body interfaces with the food we provide as building materials is our main key to health.  The system that does that interface is our digestive system.

It is so abused in America that the top over-the-counter drugs people buy now are digestive aids. Pills to help digest foods, pills to neutralize stomach acid, pills to force the rotting mass through the colon.

We do not understand food.  We are almost totally ignorant of the digestion process. Just knowing what goes on in digestion, should help you to make better choices.

Concerns

RawFood-05The areas of concern are:

    • Quality of foods-how they are grown, harvested and stored.
    • Preparation of food-should be eaten raw, for maximum benefit.
    • Digestion and Elimination of wastes.

Digestion and Elimination

The digestive system is an incredible intricate system.  It is self running and repairs itself at a very fast speed.  It is our front line system that deals with the outside influences coming into the body.

Think of it as an approximately 30 foot tube that runs from the lips to the rectum.  Its job is to turn the materials we eat into microscopic particles that the cells use to run the entire body.  Also, to separate and dispose of things that do not belong in the body.

When we eat, what we eat is propelled through the
body by muscular contraction called peristalsis.  As it travels through, the food is broken down into its components.  These components are to be used by the cells to rebuild, repair and cleanse themselves.

The whole process of the digestive system begins with a decision.

We need to decide what kind of performance we want, what kind of energy output we want, how long we want to keep our bodies.

What are the trade-in options for a broken down body?

How much money you will need to save for the years when you cannot take care of yourself, if you decide poorly?

Basically, what quality of food we are going to opt for?

Do not think that pricey foods are the measure of good food.  A lot of the time, the more the foods cost, the more handling, processing and additives are involved.

Eat Raw FoodAlways choose the organic, close to nature fruits and  vegetables, that can provide the body with the vitamins, minerals, amino acids, fats and carbohydrates that it needs.

Eating is the act of choosing your fuel and starting it through the system.  It involves an educated mind and starts with your mouth.

Digestion occurs mainly in the mouth, stomach and small intestines with the help of the liver, gallbladder and pancreas.  This involves breaking down of fibers and chemicals into microscopic particles.

Next is absorption.  This is where the food is taken out of the small intestine into the bloodstream to be delivered to the cells.  The systems mostly involved are the small intestine, liver, bloodstream, lymph and cells.

Then, assimilation – the act of nutrients entering the cells.

Lastly, when nutrients are assimilated, an equal amount of waste needs to be eliminated.  The organs involved in this are the kidneys, liver, bowels, skin, lungs, and the lymph system.

Basically the entire body is involved in the process of digestion and elimination.  All the organs playing an integral part.

More information on our other systems to come…digest these facts, and let’s begin healing!
